A woman wildly passionate about educating and inspiring people to take steps to add health to their lives.

Hi friend,
I'm Tanda.

I get so jazzed when my feet hit the floor in the morning because it means another day to play, connect and teach YOU. We get this one life, this one go around, in this one body, so lets treat it well. I will be your biggest cheerleader and guide to living a life on fire.

From Doctorate to Farm

My journey

If you asked my childhood friends if they thought I would end up at medical school and becoming a physician they might look at you sideways. But if you asked them if they thought I would end up farming organically and regeneratively with a plethora of plants and animals, they would nod in agreement. “Yes, yes, that makes sense,” they would say.

And the funny thing is, that I did and am doing BOTH, and they, to me, are one in the same. We are a microcosm (our bodies and minds) of the macrocosm (Mother Earth). We both get sick the same and we both heal the same.

I have the training and the privilege to learn and be a part of both.
First starting with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine, to heal myself, all the way to finding a 40-acre farmette in Tennessee, to heal the land. And then, to TEACH it all to YOU.

To farm: a dream since I was five years old finally came into reality in July of 2020. Forty acres of land tucked into the hillside of Pulaski, Tennessee where I raise nutrient dense food both plant and animal, practice regenerative farming, and plan to use this farm as a teaching platform to take health to the next level.

Finding and establishing Maple and Sage Farm

This book was inspired by the local food in Bozeman Montana’s Farmers Market. Writing a book is a labor of love and this one is filled with the stories behind each recipe, health tips, and chock full of the how and why we should focus on eating whole foods.

Published my book, Food That Grows

There really were two options for naturopaths at this time, you start a clinic or join one. So my business partner and I start Clearwater Healthcare in Bozeman Montana. This was also the year that I found Arbonne (or Arbonne found me) which, has proved to be one of the greatest gifts to my life.

Started a medical practice and joined Arbonne International

City living for this country bumpkin proved to be something of a challenge, but the food scene in Portland made up for it and the friends that I found and the knowledge I gained.

Early on in my healing from an eating disorder I longed for the results of being healthy, but they seemed so far away and unattainable. Things like having a healthy relationship with food, clear skin, clear mind, joy, boundless energy and then the big one for me…longevity are what helped me heal. It took time, consistency, accountability, diligence and a COACH. That's why I'm here! We'll do it together.

Change today to live tomorrow

Key benefits of healthy living

1

Clear mind and focus

Through food choices, movement, meditation, and hormone balancing brain fog caused by a poor gut microbiome or an overcompensating nervous system will lift and focus and clarity become your new normal.

2

Healthy relationship with food

Living life with off limit or “cheat” foods is exhausting. When you choose health day in and day out and your body is getting the nutrients it needs your relationship with food begins to change.

3

Bountiful Energy

Hormones and the health of your thyroid and your adrenals are pivotal in feeling good throughout the day. Even more than that, life purpose. Your view of your job, relationships or environments can give or take away life.

4

Joy and satisfaction

Joy is an emotion that you can only experience in the present moment. The more your life becomes aligned the more joy you will experience. Studies show that joy increases immune cells and "the feel good" hormones.

5

longevity

Longevity doesn’t come in a prescription bottle or a Cheerios box claiming heart health. It comes in the everyday living, the everyday choices, and the everyday ways to add health through movement, food, meditation, sleep, breath, happiness and life purpose.
